My name is Jordan Alexander and I am a native of Atlanta, Georgia. I have a love for history and museums which I developed at a young age. I also have a passion for African American history, teaching, and oral history. I serve as my family's historian and have been compiling information for several years to preserve our genealogy.

 

I am a public historian. I currently serve as a full-time lecturer at Middle Tennessee State University. While my historical interests vary, my career aspirations are to work as a museum curator and college History professor. I enjoy playing basketball, reading and writing. Learning to play golf is a future aspiration.
