My name is Jordan Alexander and I am a native of Atlanta, Georgia. I have a love for history and museums which I developed at a young age. I also have a passion for African American history, teaching, and oral history. I serve as my family's historian and have been compiling information for several years to preserve our genealogy.

 

I am a public historian. Starting in August 2026, I will be a a visiting professor of history at Texas Southern University. While my historical interests vary, my career aspirations are to work as a museum curator and college History professor. I enjoy playing basketball, reading and writing. Learning to play golf is a future aspiration. When not busy reading or watching historical dramas, I enjoy spending time with my wife Brittany and exploring my adoptive home of Pearland, Texas, and the Houston area.
